Corporate IT Executive - Release Team Primary Responsibilitie s
-Deploy Web Services / Web Sites / Services to QC, Stage and Production
Region. -Supporting production deployments across multiple data
centers. -Work with Load Balancer in Production Environment to support
code rollouts to a web server farm. -Work with multiple onsite /remote
teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and provide production support.
-Flexibility to support off-hour pushes / weekend pushes during critical
release cycles. -Management of source code repositories. -Managing
multiple concurrent projects in a fast paced multi task environment.
-Performing product builds. Will automate, enhance and maintain existing
software build process/ infrastructure,
and ensure consistent build techniques across multiple in-house
systems. -Manage releases including coordinating with IT groups on the
release timing to ensure systems are ready for code to be deployed.
-Work closely with QA teams to get the releases coordinated and
deployment to test environments and Production. -Be able to verify SQL
Syntax and execute them accordingly. Qualifications The ideal candidate
will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set: -0-1
years of experience In IT Development/QA . -BS degree in Computer
Science, Information Science, or Related Field. -Knowledge in Microsoft
Visual Studio development environment. -Knowledge in Microsoft
Programming languages experience: VB.NET,
VB6. -Knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server. -Knowledge of XML. -Ability
to work as a team member, supporting members appropriately. -Ability to
drive best practices, standardize processes and development tools across
systems to streamline and automate the build and release processes.
-Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written English
communication skills. -Strong ability to work cooperatively with others.
-A high level of self-motivation
and initiative. -Provides self-direction in response to changes to
requirements and specifications and takes initiative to expose issues to
supervisor. -Knowledge in configuring IIS, setting up websites,
managing web configs. -Ability to handle and manage occasional stressful
situations and maintain calm demeanor. -Flexibility to work extended
hours and/ or weekends
